Branson's White Water adds new seven story thrill ride for 2007

Branson’s White Water, a Silver Dollar City Attraction, announced its biggest ride ever for White Water, for the 2007 season. The $1.5 million seven story high ride will be two stories higher than any previous White Water ride.
The new ride is described as a “multi-experience thrill ride,” will be 75 feet high and have six slides, each of which will be over a foot ball field in length. Two of the slides are designed to provide an exhilarating 300 foot drop top-speed body sliding experience. The four remaining slides are adjacent 312 foot lane slides designed for four lane speed racing.
Commonly called “Branson’s Beach Within Reach,” White Water, with 7,000 feet of slides, 12 rides, two million gallons of cool clean water, and other attractions is “an aquatic oasis where guests can swim, surf, splash and slide in water-cooled comfort. Ride lovers will find plenty of fast-paced rides from the new slides to the white-water rapids of the Caribbean Plunge and Tropical Twister. Surf enthusiasts can ride on tubes or body surf the breaking waves of the 500,000-gallon wave pool, and leisure floaters can drift with the current of the Lazy River. Families play together in the super-soaked Rain Tree Island, while kids rule at Splash Island and Little Squirts' Waterworks.
For the 2007, White Water will be open May 25 - September 3.
