Contestants at local open casting call auditions will compete for the chance to advance to regional auditions in January 2005. Local auditions will be held in
Those auditioning must be solo (no bands) and be at least 18 years of age. Each contestant will have one minute to perform a song from an approved cover song list. Those called back will be invited to sing either two cover songs, or one cover and one original, accompanied by one instrument.
